Class Descriptions

Power Up

Be ready for a full body strength class utilizing a variety of resources including weights, TRX, medballs, bands, etc.  For every level of fitness enthusiasts, this class with get your heart pumping and your muscles burning.

Focus Class

What every Power Up class includes except instead of full body we pick a focus area of the body and stick with it the whole class!  Check weekly schedule for the focus areas for that class each week!

Straight Up TRX

Just what the name says... all TRX.  Learn the basics if you are new, work those angles if you are not, and challenge yourself to the limit every exercise.  Strength and mobility focused and will get that heart pumping.

​Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Breathe, stretch and strengthen with this vinyasa flow class.  It's a mix of meditative stillness and dynamic movement that helps to connect your mind and your body.  Challenging sequences are offered with modifications for all levels of yoga experience.  

 Pilates Equipment Class

Intimate setting with only 4 people per class. 

Experience the amazing benefits of classical Pilates on both the Pilates reformer and Pilates tower.  The speciality of Pilates has attention to proper form, breath work and connection of the mind body movements.  Classes emphasize core and spine stability to allow a progression in strength, length and mobility that is unique to only Pilates.  And with its ability to target those small muscles our joint health improves for improved daily function.  Each class will utilize classic Pilates principles but keep the creative twists to keep you challenged.  Prerequisite is prior Pilates equipment class experience or schedule an Intro 1:1 class before your first group class.  Intro 1:1 sessions scheduled by emailing forwardfitnessky@gmail.com

Mat Pilates

A traditional and favorite among Pilates lovers. Do not underestimate the full body burn you will experience during this class with our creative use of Pilates balls, rings and light weights.

Active Aging Strength

A strength based class emphasizing lower impact movements, proper form, modifications for different abilities and a focus on functional strength to support everyday activities.  We will use all the strength based equipment including weights, TRX, and bands as well as utilize balance/stability focused equipment including the BOSU balance trainer, foam rollers and gliding discs.  No matter what your past or current injury, painful joints or fitness level you will get all you need in this class.
